Fired Up
Meet the new Red Sox. Well, at least the new attitude of the Red Sox.
Two days after the biggest trade (salary-wise) in baseball history, the hometown team played some inspired baseball, got its manager ejected, and had its newest member record his first hit and RBI by tying up the game. These kinds of grind-it-out wins have been all too rare this season, and it showed in the standings. What will this mean for the rest of the season and the future? Who can say, but at least it looks like there’s some life left in this team yet.
