Steam Heat

Caught another fire on my way home Sunday night. It was a little late, and nothing too severe, by fire standards for the newspaper, anyway. A lot of steam, but I think I got there a little too late to get any visible flame.

Either way, I really don’t mean to make light of or be insensitive to what must be a devastating loss for this family, especially at this time of year. It looks like the fire gutted most of the house, and who knows what it looks like inside. Hopefully, it reminds people to be extra careful with their space heaters, fireplaces, etc. when it’s cold out.
